Swim
Comments: I was a littled sluggish in the swim. Felt good in the firt 100, then battled through the final 200. Still please overall with the swim. Spacing was great as I never had to pass anyone and no one needed to pass me. What would you do differently?: Work on my stroke as I can tell it needs work after watching some video and pictures my family took of me racing. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition for me. What would you do differently?: Nothing I would change at this point. Bike
Comments: Felt great on the bike. Used the first lap to get familiar with the course and shifting due to the traffic circles and being unfamiliar with the course. Enjoyed the downhill segment on the back side of each lap as you can really get some speed. What would you do differently?: Push the uphill portions harder as well and the downhill to lower my time. Transition 2
Comments: Since I am not wearing clippless, I already have my shoes. Just need to rack my bike, grab my visor and race number and I am off. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: The run was alright for me. I was hoping for a sub 29, but happy with the sub 30. I will continue to work on this phase to get that time down. What would you do differently?: Train more to be consistent in the run. Post race
Warm down: Walking and stretching. Event comments: A great race overall and well run by FS Series. The Kirby family showed great hospitality. Great crowd support throughout the course. Last updated: 2011-05-16 12:00 AM

Up early and ate a couple of mini bagels with a Gatorade. Once at site had a powerbar and went through getting transition setup, got timing chip and body marked.
