I'm hesitant to "recommend" anything but I can tell you what I've done. I use HEED in place of Gatorade but will always drink plenty of water. I use the Gels as a compliment to HEED. Eric |

Veteran 321 Findlay OH | Subject: RE: hammer gel apple cinnamon is great! tastes like baked apples. The rasberry is pretty good as well tastes kind of like jelly. I tried orange and wasn't a big fan. But Hammergel is defintately better tasting than power gel, Gu, and the like. |

Extreme Veteran 333 Las Vegas, NV | Subject: RE: hammer gel In IMWI 2004 I used Sustained Energy and Hammer Gels throughout. Very boring, but had zero stomach issues. In IMWI 2005 I used Gatorade Endurance w/Carbo-Pro. Felt like complete garbage two miles into the run. It was horrible. I'm switching back to Sustained Energy, this time I will mix different flavors of Hammer Gel for variety. They are a great company, and their products are far and away the best I've ever used. Anyone want a full tub, minus two scoops of Gatorade Endurance cheap????? |
