This is where all the fast girls from the bike passed me.I have been doing a lot of endurance work training for ironman, so my run speed is lacking a little.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. Next year I am focusing on short distance, so I will work on getting faster in short runs

I have been training for ironman Louisville so have been doing a lot of long, endurance training, haven't been doing as much short distance speed stuff.

Great race results. 

Funny comment though about what would you do differently on the bike, get a carbon bike.  Carbon won't make you any faster but will make your wallet lighter!

Like you mentioned, the fast girls are getting you on the run, not the bike.  Which you are already hammering and gonna be doing speed work after IMLou.  Keep it up and you'll be battling for the Overall.
