Goooood morning!  Hope all you racers are ready to go...or in some cases already going!

Nothing for me today...at daughter's fastpitch softball tournament--she pitched an outstanding game last night and we beat our biggest rival...yes!  Many games today!

Have a great day--happy training or racing!

Well, I'm supposed to be swimming 550, biking 5.4 miles, and running .9 miles, but since hubby is working late, I'm not sure what we will end up being able to do.  As of right now, I'm heading out with the kiddo's...wearing at least one of the babies, but maybe both of them, and pulling the wagon with either 2 or 3 kids in it and going about a mile down the road to the garage sale at the nature center, then walking that mile or so back as well...we'll see how it goes!

Started out on my usual 5 mile run this morning.  It was so hot and humid that I cut it short and made it a 4 mile run.  I also washed my wife's car this morning and sweated just as much as on my run.  That reminds me, I better go and drink some more water!

Ran 9.5 hot and stupid humid miles this morning.  Argh, it's not even officially summer yet!

Ran a steamy 5k today. The summer heat is the one bad thing about living in Texas.

Heading to the gym with the hubby to do a short bike-run brick (25 min bike, 25 min run) then check out this one pool and hopefully get some lap swimming going. (If this new pool works out means I don't have to get up at 5:30 am to swim and I'm so not a morning person. Then gonna head to the beach with one of my girlfriends. Beautiful weather we're having so far today.

awesome day for me.  1600m OWS followed by a 28 mile bike and a short 1 mile cool down run.  Got it all in before the heat of the day set it, although it was 95 degrees when I was done!  Only bad note is I forgot my water bottles this morning.  (It was 5:45 am when I left for the lake, go figure!).  So I did the majority of my ride with no water but found a convenience store around mile 20 and got some gatorade and water.

Tomorrow is rest day so I'm stoked!

So glad everyone is having great weather! Here in Seattle, it has been lightly raining all morning. Today was my first race and I had a blast, although, I almost froze to death on the bike lol. I'm pretty sure I was more wet after the bike ride than when I got out of the lake...

I will post my race report after the race results are posted online.

AV842 - 2011-06-18 11:00 PM 30 mile ride, followed by In-n-Out Burger.  Double Double Animal Style, Fries well done, and a neopolitan shake.

I hate you just a teeny tiny little bit. I MISS ME SOME IN 'N' OUT!!!

Well done on the ride.

Me: 30 min swim with two hot tri piglets and then, like, 20 minutes of horsing around in the water. (yes this was actually in a POOL and we nearly got thrown out ... hey, the sign said NO DIVING, it didn't say anything about throwing each other in the water and dunking and wrestling and ... uh ... okay, so maybe we were being a little obnoxious.)

20 min cycle, although part of the way ... never mind. sometimes in my life, it's easier and better not to explain

Ran my first ever 10k today. Was going to wait until the end of the season to do one but the opportunity presented itself today so I figured why not. did it in 1:12:03 so I'm happy with it.

First ever HIM for me. Took a nice spill on the bike, getting some fantastic road rash, but won my AG. Got a stupid penalty (I'm the stupid one), and that moved me from 8th overall to 10th.

Race report to come once race results are posted.

Rode my first ever century today.  I can tell you one thing, you Ironpeople are NUTS!!!  There were a number of things I wanted to do when I got done, but "Go run a marathon," doesn't even make it into consideration.
