Subject: IM Canada housing options

I have been looking for housing for IMC and unfortunately the host hotel is full. I have yet to book and wondering if anyone has any good recommendations. This would be for 4 adults and a dog :@) We'll have our own van so as long as somewhat close to race site. Thanks!

We got this email about a week ago from a place we inquired at but we already have housing. Hope it's still open.

"I just got a cancellation for the week of August 23 to August 30. The room has two double beds, a mini fridge and a coffee maker. The rate for Ironman week is $1190 per week, not including taxes. For further information, or, to make a reservation, please call our toll free number @ 1 800 663 2831.

I just booked the Flamingo Motel with 2 beds and a kitchen for 5 nights, 150 or so a night. They still had 2 spots left when I asked - and it's on the bike/run course.
