I use Chrome as my browser on my netbook. It is uncapable of following a route, even when the checkbox is filled. It always wants to go direct from A to B. But "Follow a Route" works fine in IE. Odd, but that is my experience. Thanks a bunch for all the effort you've put into BT! |

Is anyone else experiencing this? Can you described what actually is happening? What do you mean by "now I can't keep on the roads". Can you give us an example route? One thing to be aware of is that if "Follow Roads" is turned on , Google Maps won't let you create a route that isn't accessible. For instance, I have a bridge in my area that was recently closed. With "Follow Roads" checked, it won't let me create a route that goes over that bridge. |

Master 2236 Denison Texas | Subject: RE: Route Tracker Update - FOLLOW ROADS! It makes some interesting swim routes until you turn it off Nice feature. Now for running routes on a divided hwy, it will not let me run against traffic, I have to uncheck it to get that plotted. |

Sometimes, my routes I'm mapping will double back and then continue forward again. I've also tried to simply have the program make a turn onto a different street and it routes it all jacked up (not even on roads). I can try to make one screwed up on purpose if you want? This would be due to Google's logic, I'm afraid there probably isn't much we can do about it. Does it happen in specific places? |
