this is such a pain. So bummed....

What about during a race i wear it under my wet suit???

anyone ever do that?

Under a tight wetsuit arm, I think it would be more likely that buttons would get pushed under water.  And hitting the buttons under water is near-death for almost any watch.

I raced last weekend with it and it was amzing. had my overall race time, swim time Transitions and most importantly had my bike speed and run pace. The run pace was amazing to help me really keep a lead on guys

I've used my 305 for OWS a number of times.  I consistently get mixed results (that's a joke, but true).  Placing it under the swim cap on the back of the head gets the best results.  When it works, I like reflecting on the data to see how straight I swam.  At times, pacing is interesting data too.

I've been told the 310XT needs a firmware update and then it works really well in the water.

Also, those new Nike GPS watches are waterproof I believe and work pretty well from what I understand.

I'm not sure I understand why you'd wear a GPS watch in a pool for training.  Can you not count laps or stick to the written workout and figure out how far you went?  Is it that critical to upload the data to mygarmin.com?
