TRUE BLOOD Season 4 (Page 4)

You know….I’m actually starting to feel better about this season. Now that we seem to be narrowing the focus a little, and especially since we seem to be done with Hotshot and Tommy’s parents, I like it a little more.

Tommy needs to go. He’s unwatchable and that storyline isn’t going to go anywhere. We’ve already done about five laps of Sam trusts Tommy>Tommy betrays Sam’s trust>Sam threatens or attacks Tommy>Tommy begs for forgiveness>Sam trusts Tommy. Enough already.

I’m really liking the Antonia storyline. When they first brought up the possibility of the spell that would bring vampires into the light, I was expecting the big Ressurection to be the climax of the season. I was pleasantly surprised when it happened at the end of the episode. Loved the scene of the random neighbor woman walking outside in her housecoat and curlers and exploding.
When the mysterious ghost-woman appeared in the kitchen with Lafayette, I literally got chills. That creeped the he!! out of me. I agree that the trip to Mexico and everything was a loooong way to get to “Lafayette is a medium”.

Until the matches spontaneously combusted and the house burned down, I had the sneaking suspicion that the thing with the baby was Jessica playing a prank on Arlene.

And speaking of Jessica, NOOOOO! I hope Jason and his were-panther fairy blood can get there in time. Umm.. nice job of tying her down, Bill. I love how the 100-lb soaking wet Sookie could restrain 1000-year old Eric, and the fang-banger barmaid could safely contain centuries-old Pam, but the King of Louisiana couldn’t manage to securely tie down Jessica.

Jason has had Jessica's blood. Has she had his? I don't remember that.

Eric ripped that dudes heart out drank from the aorta like straw. That was good TV right there.

Finally caught up on all the espisodes so I could open this thread and read it! Ha!

All right let's see...

"Nice" Eric was a huge turn off! Yuck. He was so... pathetic, he just wasn't hot anymore. Confidence is sexy. He was not sexy being a push over pansy man.

I was SO HAPPY when Tommy got killed. Took way too long.

I was SO HAPPY with the greasy leader of the wolf pack got killed. Yes! His voice was so annoying.

The witch plot nees to be over with. I mean really, now we have to deal with her coming back through Lafyette? Let it end already.

Lafyette and his boyfriend being "magical" and "witches"- eh it's OK. Slightly annoying. But I still like Lafyette's character.

Jessica and Jason together... drama right there for sure. And anyways, they are all hot for each other because of the blood swap. Don't they know this?

The ware-pather plot was downright strange. Really weird.

It was really funny when Eric at the "Fairy Godmother". Ha!

Bill as the King is slightly annoying. He went from normal vamp to a King... and they didn't even have an episode over it?




That's all I can think of right now.

Eric is so fast .  Just saw on a commercial that he is int the remake movie Straw Dogs.

This season really redeemed itself for me. I ended up liking it a lot. The were-panther thing, though, what was THAT about?

I'll be sorry if Tara dies, although they haven't done much with her the last two seasons other than make her scream and emote.

I'm sorry that Lafayetts (? spelling?) boyfriend died. I liked him. Nice guy.

I'm really glad the witch thing is OVER. FINALLY! That was so annoying. I was done with that stupid plot.

I'm sad that Tara is dead. Although my boyfriend was glad to see her go.

Sookie needs to get with Eric. Now that he's not acting all pathetic, he's hot again. I need to see more of Eric with his shirt off! Bill has never been hot and he needs to keep his shirt on.

I'm glad Debbie got shot. Thank goodness that trashy character is off the show!

I *WISH* Tara would be dead, but mark my words, she'll get some vamp blood to heal her OR they'll turn her into a vamp.

I'll be the naysayer who feels this season did not redeem itself.  It sucked.  Worst season of the series.   They've gotten away from what made the series interesting.  

Pam only looks normal because she is getting the hideous injections multiple times  day, correct?  Or did I miss her somehow being cured? 

Yeah, I told my boyfriend that Russell E. was back- but I couldn't remember his name. Thanks!

I also told him I was going to be Jessica in that little Red Riding Hood outfit for Halloween. He didn't object. Ha!

That's what I figured too. She'll get healed up somehow.

Yes she is getting multiple injections to keep herself looking like that. Or maybe the spell was broken?

I think the finale was OK. I didn't even realize it was the finale.
