Subject: I'm interested in my first tri
I live in Greenville SC and was trying to find a group that trains for tris.  Is there a group in Greenville?

This would be a good place to start.

http://www.upstatetriclub.org/ They meet at the Caine/Halter YMCA

Setupevents.com is also offering some group rides prior to the Greenville triathlon. The local bike shops are also very supportive.

And aside from actual formal groups, there are lots of people that train in small numbers.  Depending on where you live, and where you're willing to travel, I'm sure you could catch up with a number of people.

 

Also, depending on your pace, it could make a difference.  I'm in 5 Forks, Simpsonville.  If you're just starting out, and not all that speedy, feel free to PM me, and perhaps we could get some training in together here and there.

Upstate Tri Club or like Chaderbox said, there are small groups around.  What area of Greenville are you in?
