Awesome swim. Caught the entire elite wave except for the eventual race leader. The wave had a 2 minute head start.

Comments:

Forgot to fill aero bottle. Terrible mistake. Ran it dry before half of the bike was over. Started sweating very salty but felt ok.

Fill bottles!
Transition 2
  • 00m 47s
Comments:

Had trouble racking. Took about 3 quick attempts.
What would you do differently?:

Practice racking in boxes more.
Run
  • 42m 54s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 06m 55s  min/mile
Comments:

Got out quick and started fading as the race went on. Ran miles from 6:09-7:03. Most were solid around 6:40.
What would you do differently?:

Ran as tough as I could. Took the first 5k out under 20. Had to run ballsy and it bit me in the ass a little bit. Racing faster people means taking bigger risks. Overall good run though.
