So it appears I start at 2:55pm on Sunday. Second-to-last wave that goes out. Great. Oh well, looks like I'll be home in time for dinner. The g/f goes at 6:30am on Sunday, the first wave out. Crazy the guy/girl ratio at races here in the UK.

Good luck to you both its a great event I did it last year. The swim has a bit of weed to contend with for the first 300m or so but its clean and usually warm. Go careful on the corners as there will be diesel on the roads from all the cabs.

At least you can ride to the start from home as parking round Hyde Park is not cheap.

London Tri starts at Excel Centre. Hyde Park Tri starts at Hyde Park.

I'm doing that one too. I'm likely going to finish DFL as only fasties do it.

Oh yeh sorry.

London tri starts in the murky black waters of the docks.

Hyde park you will be fine there are a real mix of racers in that too although not many total beginners judging by the number of aero helmets and expensive bikes.

So I did this and it was all good. My g/f did it too, but she did the Olympic Plus. The results page is pathetic. For the biggest triathlon in the world, you'd think they'd have a better one, something with a search function, that is. Or at least not tease you with the top 200 AGers and no more.

Still no results?  I keep trying to find a picture gallery - they must have had 80 photographers out on the course... I want to see bad race pics!

They seemed to have fixed the website. But it's just PDFs. Not searchable.

Not bad. Thankfully I raced on Saturday. Finished in about 2:42:XX. The bike course was technical and pretty crowded. Otherwise all good. The water tasted and smelled AWFUL.
