I have a few local (Glen Burnie) hill climbs but was wondering if anyone has other nearby suggestions. If I can't find any climbing road loops, might just take out the Mt Bike for a change. I guess climbing is climbing

I have a great hill climb loop in Montgomery County.  Rt 355 north up through Clarksburg, turn onto Rt 109 towards Sugarloaf Mountain, then Rt 28 back down south.  First time I tried I bonked something fierce at mile 40.

Pretty much any climb in and out of the Patapsco Valley is pretty tough.

This is one of my routes:

You can add some loops along River Road inside the park if you want to add some flat volume, or you can walk your bike across the railroad tracks and go up Gun Road if you're really nuts.

I'm up in Sykesville, and I have a six mile loop that goes into downtown, up Forsythe, then back down to the river and up Gaither Rd., about 500 ft. of climbing. By the third loop I feel pretty crunchy.

Also some good hills on Henryton Rd and Arrington Rd but I'm never tried to work them into any type of loop.
