Hello all! Just started reading here, so I figured I'd introduce myself quick so I can't even be considered a lurker

All through my youth, I played football and ran short distance track, so these endurance events are still pretty new to me. I started out a few years after college with running marathons (3:45 at Columbus 2008 and 3:52 at Cleveland 2009). However, after seeing many of my other friends training for and competing in triathlons, I knew that's where I would feel more comfortable.

Anyway, I'm a new triathlete in Ohio, doing my first summer of racing. I've been doing multi-sport training for the past 2 years, but finally got the courage to do some races this summer. So far, I've finished a sprint (1:18) and olympic (2:45) with plans to do another olympic and then a 70.3 distance in September.

That's all about me for now!

Hi, welcome to BT and congrats on your marathons and triathlons so far! Good luck with the training and the Oly and half. Make sure you write race reports they are important for reflection, further planning, and wonderful benchmarks to see how far you've come.

Hey there! I'm from Ohio too. It seems like a lot of people on this board are from around here. I'm new myself, to the board and to the sport both, but just wanted to say hello to a fellow Buckeye.
