Swim
Comments: Pretty sure that the swim time is off by 3 or 4 minutes. Since the race started 30 minutes late, I think the RD started using an interval of less than 5 minutes between waves. Being the last wave, our times have the greatest differential. I don't think the timing was adjusted accordingly. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: HR was pretty high during the entire bike segment. Drank water frequently. Probably should have ate a GU on the bike to help with energy level on the run. What would you do differently?: Eat a GU Transition 2
Comments: Took too long getting race belt on. Run
Comments: Legs were very tight and never loosened up. What would you do differently?: Take more water at the water stations and pour more water over my head for cooling. Post race
Warm down: Just tried to cool down. Lots of water, cold towels and a Muscle Milk. What limited your ability to perform faster: Effort on the bike was probably a little too high. Should have taken a GU on the bike. Last updated: 2011-07-18 12:00 AM

Got up grabbed a Clif Bar and banana for breakfast and drove to the race site.
Setup transition, grabbed a water and then walked over to the swim start.
None
