Does Team Ben have any extra shirts that need to be dirtied?  If so I'd be honored to show some support for your team!

Wish I had signed up for this. Some of my teammates of Real Women Tri are doing it! Look for them in pink and black.

Stay safe all!

God, that was FUN!

Glad we had an early start time.  The tunnel was smokin' hot at 11, I can't imagine how bad it was at 3 or 4.

Best parts:  The rope wall, the creek crossing (even tho I was in thick mud up to my tatas) and the cargo net wall.

They were cheering "slip & slide" when I arrived at the pit.  I obliged and will likely be blinking mud out of my eyes for weeks.  AND, Tess and I took the right side on the bog.  I pulled down the sapling next to it so she could use it as a handrail.  I had mud almost up to my neck so she could cross.  Crazy fun and I can't wait to do it again.

My daughter (age 15 - 37 min) and I (age 50 - 49 min) both finished yesterday. That was some of the most fun I have ever had with my clothes on. I can not wait until next year. I will be much better trained for next year - I promise (still don't know if I can ever beat my daughter!).

Hubby & I did it too on Saturday @ 11.  I didn't see this thread or would have commented.  I wore a black tank & a pink running skirt (not like it was pink for long).  It was definitely fun.  The creek was crazy.  And yeah, the blackout was HOT at 11 AM, I can't imagine what it was like at about 3 or 4 PM!  I never thought I would ever do some of that stuff.  I fell off of the rope on the back side of the climbing wall obstacle. I have some nice bruises and rope burn, but didn't seriously hurt myself, which is good since my first tri is this weekend!

Just saw this on facebook.  I also heard from TrishM that a friend of hers busted her ankle.  My running club had over 30 members who did this race with no major injuries.  Glad you all survived! I'm sure you all signed your life away on a liability waiver though.

Love the pictures by the way!!  Looks like registration is open for next year.  Are you all doing it again?

This is a must do IMO and my family is in for next year.  I feel horrible about all of the injuries I have heard about.  We spent some time before and after our wave hanging out under the big tree by the first aid tent.  I have to admit, I was shocked at how many people came through there.  To me, there has to be some common sense.  Folks have to know what they are getting in to.  My daughter was in no way prepared for this (unlike your daughter Dan, #### she killed it).  I Jedi mind tricked her to let me run with her so I could watch out for her and I an so glad I did.  There was nothing all that challenging, but I could see where she might get in to trouble.  I got lucky that I was there for her:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/7474357@N04/6003524589/  It would have killed me to know she got hurt and I wasn't there to protect her.

My wife has a bunch of pictures of the 10:30, 11 & 11:30 wave as they ran past the parking area, between the rails. She also has some of the 10, 10:30 & 11 wave climbing the wall, 4th from the end.   Any bib numbers I can look though it.

I had a couple women in the pink and black in my group, stayed close thoughout the course.
