Okay, Bryan ... just looking at that makes me want to vomit ... but then I look at your shiny new avatar and it makes everything better.

As for me ... 1:25 in a plunge pool with swim cords.

3x10min swim/kick/pull (3:20 each, and I did the kick vertical in the water ow ow ow)

3x10min (1:00 fly, 2:00 back, 3:00 breast, 4:00 free)

2x10min (4:00 moderate, 3:00 moderate+, 2:00 hard, 1:00 all out)

5 min cool-down

It's brick day for me as I am practicing for my third sprint in 10 days:

11.8 mi in 52 minutes (13.62 mi/hr)

1.7 mi in 20 minutes (12:00 min/mi)

I have not done a brick in a long time, and it felt AMAZING! Gave myself a pat on the back with a vanilla/peach protein shake--YUM

Core/weights this morning. 600m continuous swim and 10m cooldown run at lunch.

And I'm marveling at whoever is working out faster than the speed of light to set the month in the topic back to July

1. Welcome to BT!

2. I love your avatar!

3. No no no no no ... you're doing great! Follow your own program. Trust me ... it is NEVER a good idea to compare yourself to anyone else's workout ... this is especially true if it's bryancd posting.

On the schedule this evening is a 46 min ride/14 min run.

I'm adding a short swim at lunch -- 500-600m.

Race on Sunday!!!! Laughing

Triaya -- your workout makes me want to vomit -- swimming is the only thing that makes me do that.

bryan:  Good golly, man!  You are effin' FAST!!  Impressive!

No workout again; starting over on Friday.

Good news re. weight loss journey I started Monday:  Weight today--240.9 lbs.  Down .9 since yesterday, down 2.8 since Monday.  I know it's largely water weight, but I'll take it.

6.2 mile run this morning.  I thought it would be better to run in the morning before it got too hot.  It sucked.  Not that hot, but so humid.  I could not get my body going at all & felt horrible the whole time.  Worst run I've had in quite a while.

About 3,000 yards in the pool.  Outdoor pool was taken over by the noodle ladies so had to swim inside at 84.5 fricken degrees.  No short intervals this morning.  What sucks is that the REASON the indoor pool is kept at 84.5 fricken degrees is that the NOODLE laidies complained it was too cold.  Now they're outside!  O.K. rant over.

MLB game with cutie-pie tonight!

Have a nice day everyone.

1.15 mi on the track with Mattie, 24:21, not the best time, but not too bad. We did 10 laps plus 1 1/2 set of stairs.

Have to admit Bryan's workout incited strong feelings of nausea in me, too. Have done that one but add about 10-12 seconds to each quarter!

Bike workout on stationary in posh new health club I'm thinking of joining, for strength training and to have another option for running if I don't feel like dealing with heat/humidity/ darkness/dogs/monsoon, and to access a pool for recovery and possibly training purposes on my own schedule, not the school's. 60 minutes total, 45 minutes of 5 minutes at 80%, 5 at 75%, 5 at 85%.  (Still doing those Jorge workouts--need something to structure my biking.)  The thing has a power meter--not admitting what I do as it's truly embarrassing. But it did work out to about 18 mph average. No weight, and no power--my biking profile!  So luxe--you can watch TV on your own screen, check e-mail (hah, like I could doing one of these workouts); there are even aerobars!
