Comments:

Was glad to complete the swim without any panic after the last race but still VERY disappointed. Don't like being BOP at all. Going to have to focus on swimming a bit more.

Comments:

Went a lot slower than usual... of course this included T1 and T2 (I think).
With it being my first Olympic distance race I held off at times thinking that I needed to save myself for the run more than it turned out I did.
What would you do differently?:

Need to work on cornering at higher speeds. There were some girls there who showed me up in a serious way on the corner at the bottom of the hill.

Struggled with nutrition and watch. Need to figure this out.

Comments:

Felt that my run went as beautifully as I could have hoped for! Was a little stunned that my time was so slow but apparently the course was a little long.
Kept breathing under control with nice stride and turn over rate.
Happy with this part of the race!

Event comments:

This was a fabulous race!
Was great for the family as well with the wonderful location and the lap set-up they got to see Mom frequently and play at the park/beach.

By my watch the course was 500m long on the run (so 2:30 or so extra time for you) and the bike course was 1.4 or so short.

Swim was also ~100m (2-3mins) long that far buoy drifted pretty bad. So don't beat yourself up comparing to previous.

Just glad the wind went away!

Good to know... I"m always curious how accurate the distances are as I don't race with a GPS.

Thanks
