Swim
Comments: I'm not a swimmer but today went okay. Probably my fastest 500m time. Pool swim was a nice change What would you do differently?: I went out a little fast Transition 1
Comments: a little slow but my heart rate was up pretty high from the swim What would you do differently?: get shoes on quicker Bike
Comments: Terrible day on the bike for me. Did 24.7mph last week and only 21 this week. Had been sick the day before and ate next to nothing so I had no energy. What would you do differently?: Eat more the day before and get more sleep. Transition 2
Comments: decent transition. Run
Comments: drank water at the turn around and instantly got stomach cramps What would you do differently?: no water at turn around Post race
Warm down: lied in the grass and drank gatorade What limited your ability to perform faster: 1) being sick the day before 2) eating nothing for the past 24 hours 3) only 4 hours of sleep Event comments: Good first time race. Nice people! Need better signs on the bike course. A few people made wrong turns. Also the policemen were sitting in their cars and not really stopping traffic. Last updated: 2011-08-13 12:00 AM
