Pre-race routine:

Came to race semi-late, but set my transition up quickly and walk thru it a few times from swim finish to bike start and bike finish to run start. Then went on to my warm-up.
Event warmup:

Didn't have much time for the bike warm-up that I wanted to do, so I went for a quick jog 5 minute out and 5 minutes back. Then I had a good stretch. I looked over transition set up one more time then headed to the water to get ready for the start.
Swim
  • 27m 30s
  • 1640 yards
  • 01m 41s / 100 yards
Comments:

Not sure of my overall rank out of the water.
What would you do differently?:

I would have done a better job drafting the last 250m. Lost the feet I was drafting off of the first 1200 yards.
Transition 1
  • 00m 45s
Comments:

Had a slight delay when I first got to my bike from the swim, but I had to catch a look at my garmin to see my swim time.
What would you do differently?:

Not much.
Bike
  • 1h 01m
  • 22 miles
  • 21.64 mile/hr
Comments:

Not sure of ranks but a solid ride. Nutrition was spot on.
What would you do differently?:

I would have made myself a bit more uncomfortable and pushed it the last 6-8 miles.
Transition 2
  • 00m 50s
Comments:

Great transition.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Run
  • 42m
  • 6.2 miles
  • 06m 46s  min/mile
Comments:

Not sure of ranks but a comfortable run.
What would you do differently?:

Run much harder, but it was a comfortable 10k and progress I've been waiting for.
Post race
Warm down:

A good walk, stretch and drink for 20 mins, then straight to the water for a stretch and small swim.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My mind but confidence is building and performance is progressing.

Event comments:

Very good race and well managed!
