I bet Sarah Haskin was pretty upset by the 7 pro guys she had to pass during the race last year getting in her way.

You took some ribbing but make sure you go out and have fun.  Race hard, race smart and I will cheer you on if I see you.

I think it is awesome that the PROs going late. This is a chance for the mere mortals of triathlons to actually get a chance to see the best compete.

Its my favorite part ever since I saw Emma Snowsill run past me.  Wow.  No other sport will I get passed by an Olympian.  Well maybe if I find a marathon with an early start.

I'm not sure why the younger age groups think they are so much faster?  In the last 3 races I have done the groups over 29 have had more finishers in the top 25 than the 20-29 age group.

The races I have been in break down as follows:

Logansport sprint in the top 25  20-294) 30-39 (6); 40+ (14) one kid was 15

Indy Olympic distance tri  Top 25  20-29 (6); 30-39 (9), 40+ (10)

Indy Sprint Tri Top 25 20-29 (7); 30-39 (10); 40+ (8)

Slow groups like who?  Are there fast people in other age groups?  What about the slow people in your age group?  If your age group went first in Oly distance, the slow people in your age group would slow down fast people in other age groups.  It's part of the sport.  Really?

x2  I've passed many a slow M25-29 AGer....
