Who among you is a member of Lifetime Fitness? Can you tell me what you pay for a single membership? Do you know if they do pool-only deals?

Not a member but I was just in there and it was $90/month IIRC.  No options for just pool.

I pay 109 for the three of us. I am not aware of swim only dues but you can join masters without a membership.

According to the staff up here, you must be a member to attend the master's swim.

Follow up, sort of:

I called Lifetime Fitness in North Scottsdale, and spoke to a nice guy. He was very interesting in getting me to come tour the place. I gave him my email address, and he sent me a nice message talking about the amenities: group fitness, sports, even recreational activities, like swimming and rock climbing.

I told him I just wanted to swim with the Master's group, and offered him $5 drop-in or we could workout a monthly plan for 1 swim/week.  Yep, he never replied.

I will check with my club down in Gilbert. I love the place, but make no mistake about it they are corporate and chase after the dollar. The Scottsdale location is a "Gold" level facility and mine is a "Bronze" level. Although, they are the same. I can go to any other in the valley but Scottsdale. I would have to pay a $20 usage fee to go there.

I use to swim masters in Gilbert and recall asking the coach if one had to be a member and she said no.

I just pay $25 per month for LA fitness and can swim as much as I want and use clubs back wast when I travel. Seriously, Chad, do you really have en expectation that Lifetime would have any interest in managing a single client with a drop in fee? That's not their business model.

I expected a negotiation. Some places have masters swim with drop in fee that you wouldn't expect. I am also a member of LA Fitness, but I'd like to find a masters swim option near home (85050) or work (85027). I haven't had any luck so far.

It's not super close but what about Anne Wilson's master class at the Scottsdale JCC?

I checked with the activities desk the other day while in Gilbert. I was advised that one must be a member to participate in Masters.
