Subject: RE: I need a pool in central MA Here is a link to the New England Masters current work out group. Looks like the Greendale YMCA Masters team swims at the worchester YMCA Tues and Thurs 7:00p - 8:00p. The cost is $50 for 8 weeks for YMCA members or $100 for 8 weeks for non-YMCA members.

If you do not want to join the masters than you can usually call the pool and get their open swim hours, however I strongly recomend joining a masters team no mater what your level is.
My first two years of Tri training I swam on my own and always managed to get through the swim somewhere in the mid to back of the pack. I joined a masters team for 16 weeks over the winter and I jumped up to the top 10% in my age group plus my technique improved so much that I actually had more energy for the bike and run (which lead to faster times in both of those disiplines ). 2hours per week in swim training will yield you greater results than 2 hours per week in running or biking.
