OldAg92 - 2005-09-13 7:56 PM My LBS doesn't know how to do a fit other than having you stand over the top tube...will have to go to Austin or San Antonio to get a proper fit...any suggestions?

I suggest you go to Austin and find that guy named Lance....

Either Don at ATC or Jack and Adam's can hook you up. I know Don has taken the FIST training from Dan Empfield at Slowtwitch. I can't remember which "system" Jack and Adam's uses, but it's one of the well known ones.

Don gave my home-grown position a quick review and said I did a good job, but could always get lower in the front. I have to get a new stem for that, so I haven't done it yet. I'm not in a huge rush anyway, since I already have about 4 1/2 inches of drop from my seat to my bars and I'm lower than most people I see.

She sure looks sweet. Nice and tight. Great lines. Beautiful seat.

Enjoy the ride.

Congrats Brandt!!

Excellent bike.

I assume that part of your speed will come from you having a properly sized bike. The small 53 that you had vs this 58 probably makes you more efficient and thus faster.

Dont forget to take the reflectors off. or u could just do it for races. WOW, no wait put em on for race day to bewilder your opponants. (i ride in the sun all the time, so i yanked mine off).

Fab Bike!! I'm new and curious? Do you use this bike for races only or are you going to train on it too?
Thanks,

The bike shop was supposed to take the reflectors off and didn't...I will do so.  For now, it will be for training and racing, but when my new road bike comes in, this bike will be for racing only.

I must have missed a previous thread. What kind of bike did you get?
