The TorHans Vr Aero Frame Bottle is so sweet.  I can't wait to see when this will hit the market.  I will be the first in line.  I want to see the wind tunnel results as well!

looks very close to how the Virtue bottle is set up for the Specialized bikes (and...well, most bikes if you are a bit handy with a drill)

If I were just guessing I'd say 0 change in Aerodynamics. (As in, no penalty for having it)

Doesn't the P4 test better with the bottle?

Yes, but it's actually a part of the frames design, as opposed to this (and the virtue) which occupy the space in the triangle.

Most other designs (the Bontrager for the SC, Virtue for the Specialized, Speedfill for the Airfoil) don't produce "better" results, only neutral ones.

Thanks for the enthusiasm for our latest product guys. This bottle in both the Felt specific and the universal will be exclusive to Felt for most of 2012.

We hope to post the results from the wind tunnel soon. We have tested different variations of this concept since 2008. I won't tell you how good it is but will tell you that there is definitely no net increase in drag.

The cage you see in the photo was designed specifically for the DA line. We will have a cage that is universal to fit on most bikes for 2012. The bottle is the same.

The bottle holds 20 OZ.

We are also working on a cover that you can use the cage/holder as a tool carrier in lieu of hydration. Then just run a TorHans Aero 20 or 30 up front.

More to come next year as well.

Hans

is any part of it made from carbon fiber?

I don't put anything on my bike that isn't carbon fiber.

Sorry, no carbon fiber.  Still very light and a much better hold than most other aero bottles.

Hans,

Do you have any pictures of the bottle removed from the cage?  Any issues of the cage rubbing on the frame?  Great looking product!

Is the tool carrier going to be similar to the Wedgie?

Hello,

We will release a whole slew of pictures soon. The tool holder will look just like you see now, instead of a bottle it will just be a very light weight cover. So it does not really look like the product you have shown above.

Should not have any issues with the cage rubbing on the frame.

Thanks for your interest,

Hans
