Champion  5183    Wisconsin |  Subject: Calling all GLBT triathletes!The Gay Games will be in Chicago next summer! How cool is that? They happen every 4 years, all over the world, just like the olympics. http://www.gaygameschicago.org/home.php And guess what? They have triathlon! And Running and Marathon and Cycling and Swimming! The dates are July 15-22, with the Tri on Sunday the 16. There is a Sprint and an Oly distance, and it is ITU sanctioned details below http://www.gaygameschicago.org/sports/competitions.php?mgroup=Triat... It gets better: There is a Team Categorie! Any other GLBT triathletes, M or F, that anyone knows in the 30-34 AG who might want to kick some A$$ with Da POSS?  |

And since i wouldn't be participating in the rest of the conference/event, I can't justify that cash. Maybe when the race gets closer they will offer a "race only" fee. deanna |

Veteran 509 Oak Park, IL | Subject: RE: Calling all GLBT triathletes! yeah but by not being glbt, it just doesn't work financially for me. i got an ad for this race in a race bag not to long ago (accenture, maybe) that called for all lglbt and straight athletes so i was hoping straight athletes would get a "race only" fee. It would be so cool to do a race like this so close to home and watch my glbt friends google the eye candy. and in case your looking for more eye candy (both male and female), check out an iron man sometime. |

I didn't really go through the whole website, is being LGBT a requirement, or is it more like the Rainbow Coalition where you can just be supportive of other people as people? Because it sounds like fun. |

It sort of conflicts with Lake Placid, but if I decide to to an Ironman next year other than IMLP, maybe I can get out there and cheer you on! Woo hoo...Possum rocks!!
