I'm looking for a aero carbon road bike.  Other than a Cervelo S2 or S5, any recommendations?  I'm looking to spend between 3 - 4K.  Thanks.

Yeah- I've got a great suggestion.  Check out the Lightspeed Archon C1 or C3.  I test road the C3 last year and was really impressed with its feel.  Stiff, yet damp.  and- a truly beautifully designed frame.  The C3 ultegras are really well priced as well.

I agree that the Archon C3 is a great bike, I tested one out and loved it... But then did some research about Litespeed and their warranty process - it wasn't that great. So I decided to stick with Specialized, I have had great luck my other Specialized bikes and went with a 2011 Tarmac Expert SL3. Not an aero road bike, but I am very happy with my purchase.

I just purchased the Cannondale Slice 5. Does have 105's components but that sure didn't take anything away from the performance

Look 576.  It fits into the same relm as the Cervelo's in the S series (aero road, but is generally sold as a TT as it is slightly tweaked towards more TT).  It has great reviews (slow twitch etc), is super stiff and you can easily put drops on it and reverse the seat post to give you that more "road bike" set up as it comes with 78 degree seat tube angle.  A lot of people do this

And if you are like me and are more legs than torso it is absolutely perfect as felts, cervelo's etc are more short in height and long in reach.  Look is opposite.  Again look at slow twitch as they review all the bikes in regards to this.

I love my 576!!!
