This, and an awful-looking Footloose remake? Hollywood really has run completely out of ideas.

This actually looks interesting if for no other reason than I have enjoyed Hugh Jackmans acting lately since he has actually been acting in addition to the more traditional action roles he gets. I am hoping that this turns out well. Probably wont see it in Theaters though unless a friend sees it and recomends it but definately a netflix/rental choice.

There are remakes that are in some stage of production of: Point Break, Total Recall, Judge Dredd, RoboCop, and Short Circuit. Yes, Hollywood is out of ideas.

Total Recall and Robocop might be interesting, just because they were good movies and CGI technology is so much more advanced than it was when they came out, but why remake Point Break or Short Circuit? (Interesting trivia I learned recently: Kathryn Bigelow, who won the Oscar for “The Hurt Locker” directed the original “Point Break”.

And that Rock-em-Sock-em-Robots movie looks unwatchable. Like “Over the Top” but with giant metal robots.

Instead of turning the hat around being like flipping a switch, you actually flip a switch.

Wait, here's a great idea for a new movie plot: Boy meets Girl, Boy and Girl fall, in love, Boy screws it up, Boy spends rest of the movie trying to win Girl back.

Original huh?

I thought it looked incredibly stupid when I saw the commercials during a football game 2 weeks ago.  But the new non-NFL commercials point out that Evangeline Lilly (Kate from Lost) is in it, so between that and the fact my wife loves Jackman, it's moved to definite renter.

I'm still holding out hope that they finally make an Ender's Game movie.

I think it has the potential to be amazing, but they could also F it up royally.

I've always wanted to see that too.  But have also worried that it would be horrible.

That movie would be perfect if they team Howard up with Roger Rabbit.

Throw a little Marvin the Martian in there and it might be worth watching

Lea Thompson is hot, regardless of the vehicle.
