race on a cooler day

Warm down:

terribly long line to athletes lounge, opted for a cold coke and pizza stand and fresh fruit we brought

What limited your ability to perform faster:

heat, not so much on the bike but def on the run, just baking in the sunny areas

agressive at start and did better with drafting, increased sighting helped about every 10 strokes lead to better navigation, nixed wearing the one contact since they dried out so bad on the test bike ride

stuck pretty close to 90+ rpms and hr at 150(5 less than LT) butt held up with just tri shorts, good job pouring h20 over me x2, need to take h20 bottle with me and not just gatorade since it was so warm, good job with nurtion and salt, infinit and 1/2 shot block, god powerade sucks

running 9:04 splits for first half, and it went downhill in the second, 88 degrees or so which wears me down, good with h20, gels and salt and cooling, kept hr at 160 5 below lt, felt like i pushed it pretty hard
