Subject: Tri's for Kids?
I realize that I probably should be asking this question at the beginning of the season, and not the end, but does anyone have any experience with the tri's that also have a 'kids' race, or races just for kids?  Any recommendations for a specific race for kids younger than 10 in the southern NH area?

This isn't southern NH, but Eastman has an outstanding kids tri.  It's right after the adult version, quite short, and you can accompany your kid if you want.  It's a pretty small event in a beautiful location.

Not S.NH but the Black Fly has a great kids race! Very well organized and lots of triathletes standing around cheering everyone one.

Not Southern NH, in Ashland NH labor Day weekend is the Circle Tri.  Both my kids have done it the last two years and had a blast.

We haven't finalized it yet, but we're investigating adding a kids tri the day before the Nashua Y Tri next year.

We have a great youth tri at the Black Fly Tri, the Little Bugger! We're about to announce the Mini Midge youth obstacle run, for the REALLY little ones, plus a longer distance little bugger for older youths. Plus, a whole weekend of racing for the adults too...Friday night bike time trial, Saturday international tri, and Sunday sprint tri. Saturday evening, we also have the Firefly 5k,followed by Fireworks!

Something for everyone

I agree with the Eastman Splash Mash and Dash - great location, fun kid's tri after the adults' race. I volunteer as a massage therapist at this tri, and even the kids come get a massage and they love it!

There's also the Granite Kids tri, as someone above mentioned, in Windham.
