Subject: Tri/TT Bike, where to store repair kit, etc.

I just recently purchased a Cannondale Slice 4 and it came with rear bottle mount and I had LBS add two cages in the rear.  My question is outside of nutrition needs, where can I store some CO2 bottles and a repair?  On my road it is at the back of seat but where on this bike?

Sorry for the basic question.

I keep a very small saddle bag on my tri bike while training, contains a tube, a CO2 and two tire levers. In a race, I won't bring anything... but again, that's because of the distances I race... In a sprint, if I flat, I would loose a couple of minutes, time that I can't make up, so my race is pretty much over anyways... this is a pure personal choice, I can completely understand if you do decide to bring the kit with you while racing...

Does it fit between rear bottle cages and seat, can't figure out where to mount.  I agree in a sprint and possibly and Oly I would just punt in a race (no need to repair).  More interested for training rides.

It definitely depends on your race length as was already mentioned.  I run tubular and anything under Olympic I don't bother.

For training and longer races I have an aero bottle between the bars (torhans) and one normal bottle behind the seat.  In the other spot I have a "cage rocket" which holds everything I need for spares etc.  Highly recommend that option.  So much easier to get access to, secure, water proof etc.

Depending on the distance, if I were rich and on a long ride/race I would get myself a nice XLab Carbon Wing (http://www.trisports.com/x-lab-carbon-wing-70-3-kit.html) along with my Profile Design aero bottle. But since I'm not, I usually have a fuel belt bag (http://www.fuelbelt.com/s.nl/it.A/id.681/.f?sc=12&category=-112) on my stem that I keep a tube, CO2, CO2 connector, plastic tool and a multi-tool; then I have my Profile Design aero bottle (http://triathlon-gear.trisports.com/search?w=profile+design+aerodrink+system) by my aero bars and a regular bottle cage I keep to refill the aero bottle with.

By the way, Cannondale Slice 4 is a nice bike.
