Expert 1128 Boston | Subject: RE: Scituate Duathlon : Official Thread I rode the route with the detours. My Garmin said 10.77 miles my husbands said 11.77 miles......Hmmmmm? Going again today. It was WINDY the other day. Looks like the bike route goes thru town. FUn course. Run looks pretty flat. |

Expert 1128 Boston | Subject: RE: Scituate Duathlon : Official Thread I was part of a relay team with my husband so I wasn't out on the bike course but I heard there were several flats. Two people finished the course by walking and my friend accepted a ride back to the transition area from a cop - obviously he DQ'd . Well organized. |

Master 1770 Bedford, MA | Subject: RE: Scituate Duathlon : Official Thread I felt that it was a well run race - there wasn't much Bill could do about the issues with the road detour. It was also pretty windy, but everyone had to deal with that. Even one of the tents met a nasty demise at the hand of mother nature, and a big speaker got knocked over - luckily nobody got hurt! I'm already looking forward to next year! It was also nice to meet a few BT folks. |
