Subject: swimming in the off season in KC

is there anywhere that is recommendable to swim in the off season?  I just got a wetsuit and am willing to brave the cold now if there are open water areas that are suggestable.

 

If not, then where is the longest indoor swim in the area?

I believe they have a long course meter pool at Roeland Park where the K.C. Blazers Swim.

Here's a link to Missouri Valley Masters where you can find places to swim so at least this is a start in terms or where some pools are.  I was a member of 24 hour fitness a few years ago, they have a SCY pool at 119th and Metcalf in Overland Park.  I'm currently at Prairie Life Fitness in Olathe and Overland Park, both have SCY pools and good masters swim groups.
