I have run the course.  It's nice, not many hills, and the hills you do go up aren't really hills.  So what I'm getting at is it's a flat, scenic course.  Last year was some crappy weather, snow with wet roads so I got some blisters.  If you read my race report don't worry about my comment on not enough drinks unless you need to drink EVERY mile like I do.  It will be windy when you run by the beaches, it's cape cod in the winter.  Have fun and good luck.

theres one hill at mile 8 i think just so you know...so you can save a bot for it..but other than that a great venue.

Thinking positive- sposed to be "showers " so if we hit it right they will spare us during the race... This is the first year for the half..the course omits the golf course hills of the full marathon..there are a few rollers but the scenery makes up for them! Have fun!

I did the Hampton Rockfest / Smuttynose HM on Oct. 2 almost all in a cold ugly rain during tropical storm Ophelia and I had my best HM experience yet!

I didn't PR, not by a longshot, but I was comfortable and happy and actually had fun, which is more than I can say about the HM that I did PR this past June...

Yup, flat course with exception of rollers coming out of woods hole to quissett. Mile 1-3 of Falmouth Road race course topography. Nobska lighthouse hill the a few rollers after that but flattens out for mile 9 and onward.
