Whole foods makes a salad they call The Detox Salad. It is made up of finely chopped cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, carrots, and other stuff I can not think of.

So my question is this: Do you have a recommendation for a good food processor?

I would like to try and make the salad myself and add different things to it.

I have a kitchen Aid that is great and has a smaller bowl for smaller recipes.

I too need one as my almost 20 year old Moulinex has parts missing and a cracked bowl. I also need a new blender (I cracked the pitcher) and have looked at combo units. From what I've read, they seem as neither works well for those as the motor speed lies in between a blender and a processor.

Following this thread closely...

I love my Cuisinart processor. It is almost 10 years old and performs like new. I can whip up a batch of hummus in no time and I've also made almond butter from whole almonds. I would think the veggies would be a piece of cake.

Anyone have this one? Nice size work bowl as the 7 is probably too small and the 11 cup too big. I think I like this...

I've got a black & decker.  Works, but not great.

Now blenders, my Warring is pretty awesome.  Much better than any crappy one I've ever had before

love my cuisinart.  And I have the 11cup size...the 7 is way too small.  If it gets too full, it is very, very messy.

... looks similar to mine:

I don't think you'll find 11cups to be too big.

... that's the one I have.  It's the perfect size.  I'm interested in that salad recipe now.
