Subject: Chula Vista Challenge Triathlon : Official Thread Having a tough taper week! Rehab United has all free classes this week and my Trek cycle in door trainer course started this week 2x week 90 mins ea. I know I should not be sore on taper week but I am! BTW, the run is actually 6.5 miles. I did the swim and run previews with Pulse. I did my own bike preview for 25 miles covering most of the course which is a steady incline. The run is a challenge with rolling hills which I did in the pouring rain in mostly darkness! Thankfully grabbed my flashlight at the last minute. Really need to get a head lamp! The swim preview was tough. The beach entry is very rocky. It was very choppy on preview night. Hopefully the previews were more difficult than the race. The weather Sunday should be 70 degrees and perfect! |
