Age Group Rank = 0/101
Pre-race routine:

Walked the course. It was a long run from the swim to the transition area.. through muddy grass. Had to navigate cow pies as well.. :-))
Event warmup:

Got in the water and swam for about 10 minutes.
Swim
  • 11m 42s
  • 437 yards
  • 02m 40s / 100 yards
Comments:

was the best swim yet. I felt relaxed and the way they had everyone start indivitually, I didn't worry about being kicked or bumped.
What would you do differently?:

I need to work on being more efficient in navigation...
Transition 1
  • 03m 42s
Comments:

Not sure how I could go faster in this... cept maybe to have shoes on the bike and run with them through transition.. but i have a hard time getting the shoe on when getting on the bike...
What would you do differently?:

Work on navigating better.. I think I zig zag a bit
Bike
  • 32m 3s
  • 9.32 miles
  • 17.45 mile/hr
Comments:

The bike portion was great. According to my bike computer I ave. 18 miles per hour.
What would you do differently?:

not sure yet

Transition 2
  • 01m 20s
Comments:

Was not able to take shoes off feet before getting to the end. Feet accidently came out of the clips...
What would you do differently?:

I need to work on taking shoes off at the end.. but then i have slow down and in this race i could push it all the way to the end didn't need to slow down .. so thats what I did.
Run
  • 31m 57s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 10m 16s  min/mile
Comments:

This is my weakest event. I have short legs and a bad knee that I worry about. It's always frustrating, and seen as a potential barrier to longer distanced Triathlons.
What would you do differently?:

I need to continue to build up endurance and pace.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around and drank water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Short legs.. :-))

Event comments:

Lots of volunteers and that was great!! The only criticsm i have is that 2 hours before the race an announcer got on a mic and start talking continually for 2 whole hours.. It was silly.... and annoying.
