When. I'm not sure exactly. But if you check out some old interviews of his, particularly the interview in the movie "The Corporation" you will see what I mean. Something has definitely changed.

Probably he's just better with unprepared personal conversations rather than prepared or semi-prepared public engagements.

"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... you won't get fooled again" - I think the Who should go after him for copyright infringement.

Actually I've always thought that was a well intended, but failed attempt at self editting. He realized that finishing the quote would give anyone the chance to use a clip of him saying "Shame on me".  If he's learned anything from Karl Rove it's to never, ever give anyone that kind of ammunition. 

He stopped, looked for a way out and ended up walking into a closet instead of out an exit so to speak.

Either that or his ego simply wouldn't let him utter the phrase.
