Looks like the lake is low, they changed the swim course.

Any insight info about the bike course from someone that has done it already?

You'll find some more discussion under the Texas forum regarding the lake and the bike course.  This will be my first HIM distance, but I've done the bike course twice.  Be prepared for some rolling hills and wind.  We're not sure yet what the status of the road paving work will be, but really hoping they cover all of the new chip seal on miles 5 - 22 with smoother asphalt before the race.
