Left foot started to hurt around mile 22, the pain became so bad I was forced to walk/run the last 4 miles. I did sprint the last .25 miles
What would you do differently?:

Cross train with the Bike and swim

I agree, the Marines sure know how to put on a race. A few of them were in my hotel bar that night, they know how to have fun too!
