Subject: South Padre Island Triathlon
This weekend, I actually have a tri that I don't have to travel to!!!!  My only local tri of the year, my last tri of the year, and it should be nice, cool weather.  Is anyone coming down for this one?

Well, I was planning on doing it, but it's about a 6.5 hour drive from where I live. My better half thought it would be less than ideal if she got left with the kid for the entire weekend. So, it looks like I'm doing one in Corpus the next weekend. It's a bit closer and we have less to do that weekend.

I didn't see a Corpus race anywhere on the schedule for the weekend of the 15th...where is the race?

It's the Keep Texas Wild Sprint. October 16th at Lake Corpus Christi. It was originally scheduled for 9/25 but they had to move it to the 16th. I don't think all the websites got updated.

It's a 400m/11.1m/3.1m sprint. Here's the website link if you want to check it out.
