Comments:

This ride is very hilly, scenic and a must do tour for anyone in Central to North Texas. Glen Rose is about 50 miles south of Fort Worth. This is my second year to do this ride and I enjoyed it more this year over last, probably because I'm a little more fit.

This ride includes "The Wall" a 1/4 mile 19% grade as the most challenging of the hills. The rest of the ride is still a good challenge with steep hills and some rolling hills.
Post race
Warm down:

Ate about 4 pieces of Pizza (I finally finished something that the pizza was still hot).

Then I road another 8 miles out to my dad's house.

Event comments:

Once again - if you live in Central Texas or the DFW area and like to do bike tours, make sure this one is on your list to do next year.

I did my first metric century this weekend and growled at the last few miles being on a continuous uphill grade ... but 1/4 mile of 19% - HOLY COW!

I found out that my current limit/cycling wall is probably around 65 miles (the race was 64.85 miles ) - to do another 8 miles after the race is commendable.

Also, nice pace for a hilly course.
