If you get the wrong size or they don't fit right you'll be in a world of hurt. Might want to try a few pair on at a LBS. As far as the bikes, they too look acceptable. Most mass produced bike frames are made in the same factories as more expensive bikes. What you pay for are the component groups. Shimano SORA is towards the bottom in quality, but not the worst. For a beginner on a budget both bikes appear fine. Be sure and check your local bike shop for end of the year discounts. Most shops have great deals this time of year and give additional discounts on gear if you buy a bike from them. |
