Subject: Feel Good Had a great couple days of training, and am feeling good about my prosepcts of finishing a sprint tri in June. After Taking 6 days off to get over the flu, this is how it went.
Swam 800 uninterupted yards on Thursday. First time I got up to that distance. Other than some stiffness in my neck from turning to breath, it felt comfortable. I think my focus on form has started to pay off.
Friday and Saturday ran 4 miles each day. The runs just keep getting "easier." My times are improving, and I feel good while running. (Nice change from when I started running 10 months ago. )
Sunday, first ride on my new bike. Felt great! 12 miles over rolling hills. Most importantly I felt like I could have ridden all day and easily run when I got off the bike. I think I am really going to like the riding portion of this sport.
Just wanted to share. It is such a nice feeling to have a few days come together like this. I finally feel like I could complete each individual event. Just need to incerase my swim and ride distances some more, and work on stringing them all together.
