How do you suggest we use the "soreness" factor? Like, are you sore from yesterday's workout, OR is it supposed to be soreness right after today's workout? Help!

well, the health are is kinda modeled after trainingbible...with some differences u see in the dropdown values and the soon to come graphing.  actually this really comes from a study that was done that tb just referenced saying that there are relationships to sleep, stress, soreness and fatigue as indicators of overtraining.

anyways, if i remember correctly, this monitoring/rating should take place when u get up and throughout the day before your workout.  the jist of the health section is that if 2 or 3 of the parameters of sleep, stress, soreness, fatigue are rated less than 4-5 (in our case) then it should clue you that you may be overtrained/overstressed and that a workout would be counter-productive thus requiring a rest day.  hopefully with the graphing, we will be able to see the effects of these parameters vs overall workout and when we get sick or 'overtrainined'

now if u workout first thing, thats a little more difficult as we are all probably feeling sleepy/groggy, etc when we wake up.  so maybe the best thing to do in this case is to log this stuff later in the day way after your workout.  upon observing the graphs u may develope some indicators as to when u should lay off as to how you feel going to bed.

the graphs dont come out of tb, but is something i thought would give some good 'indicators' of overtraining as we will see trends graphically.  but is by far NOT perfect.  u must get in touch with your body and consistenly rate yourself and then find out which of these indicators or a combo of them and the ratings will indicate overtraining.

more detailed instructions later on ALL of the new stuff once is tested and i get some more time.
