Comments: The wind was a killer this year. The course is a good challenge, with just enough hills to make it a worthy challenge. Just scenic enough to keep it interesting. What would you do differently?: Probably nothing. I went out fast for me, but if I would have started slower, I may not have lasted, and my time would have been even worse. SO, it worked out fine. Post race
Warm down: Nothing. I grab my cloths, dash for the warmth of my car, and head home for a hot shower and go eat turkey! What limited your ability to perform faster: THE FREAKING WIND! Event comments: It's been done for 96years now, so they have it down pat. Plenty of local celeb's, sponsors and fun. The only unpredictable part of this race is the weather. I've seen rain, snow, wind, cold, hot. No matter the weather, it's at worst fun, and at best, great. Last updated: 2005-11-26 12:00 AM

Never the same, so there's no "routine" to it.
Ran for about 8 minutes with a quick sprint, just to make sure my legs are under me.
