I wanna jump up and down and throw a tantrum. I guess I waited 4 hours too long. The damn thing filled up by noon. I hate this. I'm so EFFING pissed. I'm feeling REALLY discouraged right now. I've been looking forward to this, and was thinking that my swim challenge this month would be the first step in getting ready for St. A's and now I can't effing go. I'm feeling really "throw my hands up and say the hell with it" right now, someone help me. Kick my *** or something. This REALLY puts a damper on my excitement. Call the race director. I had a problem and called them, and the lady I talked to was super nice. She even called me back like she said. I mean, if people accidentally reigstered mutiple times you could still have a chance. They had so many issues this morning that there's probably a zillion slots left. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask. |

It's a Team in Training event. I don't think it's too late to wign up with TNT. You'd have to fundraise, but it's for a good cause, is a great experience, and you could maybe do the race that way. |

Their training schedules conflict with my weekend classes, night classes, and all that other stuff...a good friend of mine is in with them and even SHE has a hard time trying to meet the needs they put on her. And she has half the busy life I have. All I can hope for is that they find out that there are spots they didn't know existed. The lady told me that any mistakes will be posted within 48 hours. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed. I feel like I'm acting childish, but d@mm!t I really wanted this!!! |

We can have you hold a BT sing for us at the finish. You could always volunteer and body mark all of us? I know it sucks if you can't race, but if you don't get in you can still have fun!! We'll make it fun for ya! Man this race sold out fast. I was on the phone with her and when she was fixinf my problem, I asked her if they were sold out yet and she told me "not yet...but pretty soon." I think that was around 11:30 ish. |
