Run
Comments: Did not feel fit to race, as I had not had any recent races prior to this, hence, had not ran 'race pace'. Starting was Ok, tried to stay with Madan and Du yang knowing that they will run a decent time, but approaching 5k mark, could not keep up with them. At halfway, time is 19:++, and Peng Tat overtook me there. After U-turn, Elaine overtook me. I was slowing down and oxygen debt. Lack of training adaptation. What would you do differently?: Weekly long run and intervals. Post race
Warm down: Only stretching. What limited your ability to perform faster: Was not well-trained for this event. No structured training plan. Tried to do intervals a couple of weeks before but could only manage even 90s pace for 8 sets. Lack long run. Longest run is 12km at Macr. Last updated: 2005-12-19 12:00 AM
