Ever wonder just how far you ran? This site I stumbled upon has been very helpful. The maps are like the google maps that allow you to place dots along your indicated path to actually map your runs. You can file several maps with different distances to be creative and have fun with your training plan.

here it is:

have fun

That's pretty cool.  It looks like the same technology (Google maps API) used on the sue and paul website

www.gmap-pedometer.com

but with the ability to log in and save routes.  The gmappedometer website has a little easier interface, though, as it utilizes the entire screen, has less real estate taken up by ads & sidebars, and allows you to undo the last point if you make a mistake.  I like the pace calculator on this website, though.

Very cool - since I haven't broken down and bought a GPS, this is a great tool that should save me some driving time and gas! Thanks for the post.

Thanks for posting these sites

I can only get the gmappedometer one to work for me [in Wales].
The ability to accurately map out different routes with, small, ever increasing distances, is going to help me leave the treadmill and venture outside...
when it's a little warmer!
