Subject: RE: Aero Brakes vs TT brakes? Both brakes have the cables concealed in some fashion so you are not gaining anything significant by changing to internal routed tri/TT levers.
The biggest concern is that the old school standard levers will have to have a fairly sharp bend to the housing which can affect the braking performance (harder to pull the cable ). But you can fix that by running some thicker SIS housing (the braided housing they use for shifters - it is stiffer ).
I'd say keep the standard levers unless it is affecting your braking. |
