Master 1558 Pensacola, Fl | Subject: RE: Memphis in May All depends on what you want to do before and after the race. I recommend finding a hotel downtown. Much more to do down there and it isn't a bad drive (15 miles) to the race site. That is where most of the people stayed last year. If you want to be closer to the race site I can recommend some other options. I will probabaly hosting a get together at my house sometime that weekend also. |

New user 10 Memphis, TN | Subject: RE: Memphis in May Hello Tennessee, I'm registered for MIM, I'm in Memphis and very familiar with Millington where the course is, I went to high school there. I'm still kind of queasy about the idea of swimming in Casper Creek, I used to fish for catfish there. Interested in meeting others in Memphis who are into this, I'm just getting started. It was flat to rolling hills through the park, but then at about mile 2.5 just after you cross Mudville, NICE HILL!!!!!!! Tomorrow I am going to ride the course and Sunday i am going to run the second half. Cheers! |
